Special safety instructions for the
battery and charger
Only use and store the charger and battery
at room temperature (max. 40 °C).
Never use the charger if the battery, charger
or cable is damaged.
Charging the battery
Press the locks on the sides of the battery
and remove it from the machine in which it
is fi tted.
Insert the battery (A) in the charging
station (B). The battery cannot be inserted
if the poles are incorrectly aligned. Plug
the charging station in. The red diode (C)
will light up while the battery is charging.
Charging takes approx. 3-5 hours Once the
battery is fully charged, the red diode will
go out.
Disconnect the charging station adapter (D)
from the mains once charging is complete
and insert the battery into the relevant
machine.
Note: The battery is not fully charged when
delivered. It must be charged up for approx.
7 hours before use.
The battery cannot reach full capacity until
it has been fully charged and discharged
about 5 times.
Only use the charger at a room temperature
of 5-40 °C.
Special safety instructions for the
drill
Check that the ventilation slots on the
motor are not covered.
Do not use damaged or blunt bits and
always select the correct type of bit for the
job.
Secure small items in a vice or similar. Never
hold the item in your hand!
Check for concealed power cables, pipes,
etc. in the items or surfaces you are going
to drill.
Place a piece of scrap wood under the item
if possible. Make sure that the drill does not
damage any objects under or behind the
item, e.g. when drilling in walls.
The drill must not be in contact with
anything when it is started.
