NOTE:
If you have excessively hard or sandy water, monthly is recommended.
• Drain the
water tank
(unscrew the
drain plug
at the lower front of the
Cooling Unit)
• If there is white calcium or sand build upon the interior of the
water tank
,
scrub with a brush and rinse out
• Let air dry with the
water tank lid
off or wipe dry with a towel
• Reseal
drain plug
, add water and operate as needed
• Let air dry with the
water tank lid
off or wipe dry with a towel
Water Pump Maintenance (MIV and Newer)
• Remove the
water pump
from the
water tank
.
• Open the filter cage on the inlet side of the
water pump
.
• Make sure the filter (black sponge) is clear of debris.
• Replace the cover.
• Place the
water pump
back in the
water tank
.
