Heat Exchanger Automatic Air Vent (Fig. 86 )
1. Drain the boiler primary circuit and unscrew the
automatic air vent from the pump body.
2. Examine the ‘O’ ring seal, replacing if necessary, and fit it
to the new automatic air vent.
3. Reassemble in reverse order, transferring the grommet to
the new vent.
4. Ensure that the grommet is sealed correctly to the boiler
top panel.

Pump - Head Only (Fig. 87)
1. Disconnect the electrical supply plug from the pump.
2. Drain the boiler primary circuit and remove the socket
head screws securing the pump head to the body and draw
the head away.
3. Reassemble in reverse order.
14.13
Pump - Complete (Fig. 89)
1. Disconnect the electrical supply plug from the pump.
2. Drain the boiler primary circuit and undo the three
screws securing the body to the inlet assembly and pump
flow pipe. Draw the complete pump forwards.
3. Pull off the securing clip and remove the Automatic Air
Vent. Transfer them to the new pump body.
4. Examine the ‘O’ ring seals, replacing if necessary and
reassemble in reverse order.

Automatic Air Vent (Fig. 89)
1. Drain the boiler primary circuit and remove the pump
head as described in 14.12.
2. Also for ease of access disconnect the braided hose from
the expansion vessle. then pull off the securing clip and
remove the Automatic Air Vent.
3. Fit the new Automatic Air Vent and ensure the cap is
pulled up to open the vent. Reassemble in reverse order.
