Usually, it takes less than 3 seconds for a barcode to be scanned and

its data to be decoded. For the protection of the laser engine built in

the

TPL7000

, any such procedure that has run for more than 3

seconds will cause the

TPL7000

terminal to give a warning beep,

and, at the same time, deactivate the laser beam.
