Setting the splitting distance (stroke)

1 Clamping unit 2 Shut-off rod
The splitting stroke can be adjusted for shorter lengths of timber with the aid of a shut-off
rod:
▪ Fully retract the splitting blade.
▪ Turn off the machine.

▪ Press the clamping unit and move it to the desired shut-off position.
▪ Then allow the clamping unit to engage in the recess in the shut-off rod.
The splitting stroke is defined using the following lengths:
Position Log length
1st position 20 cm
2nd position 25 cm
3rd position 33 cm
Shut-off rod removed 10 - 55 cm / 110 cm
Special knife with rollers
The log is split into two parts in one splitting operation.
The rollers on the splitting knife prevent the split log from becoming jammed on the return.
