How It Works
In short, the indoor air circulates from the rear of the portable heater, passes through
a highly efficient air filter, and enters a chamber with infrared quartz bulbs.
The portable heater ideally heats a room of 500 to 700 square feet.It can be
used to heat up a single room size up to 1000 square feet depending on the
ambient temperature. It does all this with a noise level below 45dB. The portable
heater is not for use as the primary/sole heating system.

Components and Functions
1. The portable heater is constructed with infrared quartz bulbs. These bulbs produce
infrared rays that warm the air which passes through the inner chamber.
The infrared quartz bulbs are constructed with a stainless steel thermal conducting
housing. The incorporated twisted style increases the efficiency of the unit.
2. An AC cross flow fan pushes air over these infrared quartz bulbs. Cross flow fans
create a wide flow of air using a cylindrical-shaped impeller. Air is drawn inside the
portable heater, flow along the circumference of the chamber and over the infrared
quartz bulbs, and is blown out laterally creating a uniform flow of warm air.
3. The portable heater has a delay function which controls the AC cross flow fan.
The AC cross flow fan will continue to circulate the airflow after the power is turned
off to circulate the warm air from the portable heater cooling the unit down.
4. The air flow exits through the front of the portable heater.It is a resourceful material
in reflecting the infrared rays.
5. The LED digital display is a convenient, stylish, and modern way to display the
temperature and timer.This attractive addition compliments the portable furnace
heater, in that, it simplifies and makes controlling the unit easy.Operating the
heater is logical and can be done on the unit itself or by remote.

Recommandations visant à optimiser la performance du foyer
1. Ne placez pas le foyer dans un endroit où les courants d’air sont importants.
2. Dirigez la sortie d’air vers le centre de la pièce et non vers une structure dure, tel un
mur. Pour de plus grandes pièces, placez le foyer près du centre de la pièce.
3. Le foyer est conçu pour fonctionner au mieux entre 20 °C et 23 °C (68 °F et 74 °F) en
raison de la circulation constante de l’air ambiant qui passe par l’appareil.
4. Il n’est pas recommandé d’utiliser le foyer dans des pièces dont les murs sont en béton
ou en métal non isolé. Les planchers en béton devraient êtrecouverts pour conserver la
chaleur à l’intérieur de la pièce.
5. Le filtre doit être nettoyé régulièrement pour assurer un fonctionnement optimal
Nettoyage, entretien et entreposage
Débranchez toujours l’appareil avant de procéder à un nettoyage ou un entretien. Le boîtier
peut être nettoyé avec un linge humide ou un poli à meuble. Le filtre est lavable et devrait
rincez-le à l’eau tiède pour déloger la saleté accumulée. Secouez-le pour éliminer l’excès
d’eau puis remettez-le en place.

Rangez le foyer si vous ne l’utilisez pas pendant une période prolongée. Mettez l’appareil
hors tension et débranchez-le. Enroulez le cordon autour de la poignée à l’arrière de
l’appareil. Couvrez l’appareil pour le protéger dela poussière. Vous voudrez peut-être le
remettre dans son carton d’emballage. Entreposez le foyer au sec, à l’abri de la poussière.
(Note : Il est recommandé de nettoyer le filtre avant d’entreposer le foyer pour qu’il soit
prêt à être utilisé de nouveau.)
