7.5.1

Resistance measurement

Resistance measurement is only performed using channel 1. Channels 2, 3 and 4
are not intended for measuring resistance. At the start of the resistance measurement,
channel 1 must be connected and calibration must be performed at resistance values
of < 10

Ω

. The probes must then be connected together before pressing the F9

Live resistance measurements result in the
automatic switch-off of the ohmmeter for
safety reasons. The cause can be corrected
and the measurement can be resumed by
confirming the switch-off dialogue box.

Please note that the component which is to be assessed must be disconnected
and that all cable connections which might affect the measurement must be
removed prior to each resistance measurement.

Perform a zero-balance to receive a straight resistance measurement.

Connect probes and press Next button.
