Minor Repairs

Towing lug

Depending on the vehicle equipment, the spare-

wheel well contains one or two towing lugs.

Screwing in rear towing lug

1. Carefully lever out the appropriate plastic

cover

in the bumper with the screwdriver.

The cover is captive and need not be removed

completely.

2.Screw in towing lug

as far as the stop (left-

hand thread) and tighten hand-tight.

Screwing in front towing lug

1. Carefully lever out the appropriate plastic

cover

in the bumper with the screwdriver.

Place cover in the vehicle.
