Searching for a destination
(Search/Online search)
When you are searching using the Search function,
the PCM’s internal database is accessed. Use the
Online search function to search for destinations on
the Internet.

The Porsche navigation system guides you through
the traffic and simplifies the journey to your destina-
tion. If a recommended driving instruction contra-
dicts the road traffic laws in force, the road traffic
regulations always apply. The driver always bears
responsibility for road safety.

Always pay attention to the traffic situation.

Adapt your speed and driving style in line with the
visibility, weather, road and traffic conditions.
1. Press the button.
2. Select Search or Online search
(see A Fig. 126).
3. Enter search criteria (e.g.city, street, country/
state or name).
4. Select the correct entry from the list of sugges-
tions.
5. Select Start .
1. Press the button.
2. Select City or Street (see B Fig. 126).
3. Enter an address (house number, street, city,
state/country or point of interest).
Only addresses that belong to the selected
country/state can be selected. When selecting
United States, for example, all destinations
within the U.S. can be selected.
4. Select the correct entry from the list.
5. Select Start .
Information
The Porsche Communication Management (PCM)
only shows destinations within the limits of the
selected US state. When crossing state borders, the
driver can either enter the destination and the neigh-
boring state directly or select the neighboring state in
the Search function to search for the city. If „USA“ is
entered all destinations with the same name in the
entire USA will be shown.
1. Press the button.
2. Select Recent destinations.
3. Scroll (swipe) to desired page:
–
Recent destinations : Recently used destina-
tions
– Stored destinations : Destinations saved as
favorites.

– Contacts : Stored contact addresses from a
connected mobile phone
4. Select an entry from the list.
5. Select Start .
