INSTALL DIVERTER (Models 5339.600/.602)
When finished tiling the wall, remove PLASTER GUARD

Remove two screws that secure the DIVERTER LID

and
remove Lid. Inspect the inside surface of diverter port.
Diverter port must be free of any dirt. Clean if necessary.
Install DIVERTER

with SCREWS

removed from
DIVERTER LID

Operate DIVERTER

should slide in
and out smoothly.

Push on DIVERTER COVER

clockwise to off position.
Push CAP

on valve. Place ESCUTCHEON HOLDER

onto
CAP

and attach with LONG SCREWS

Place ESCUTCHEON

onto CAP
(2)
and attach with SHORT SCREWS

to ESCUTCHEON HOLDER

.
Push DECORATIVE RING

onto CAP
(2)
until seated flush against
ESCUTCHEON

. Push ADAPTER
(8)
onto VALVE STEM
(9)
and attach
to VALVE STEM

with SCREW

Align HANDLE

and thread onto ADAPTER

Screw DIVERTER KNOB

onto diverter stem.

Remove pipe caps from rough-in nipples.
To install SHOWER HEAD

slide ESCUTCHEON

away from wall to expose
hex. Install SHOWER HEAD

and push ESCUTCHEON
(13)
flush with finished wall.
Thread TUB SPOUT

onto spout nipple.
