Climate Control Systems

Manual Climate Control System

Fan Speed:

Turn the fan knob (see “A”

above) clockwise or counterclockwise 
to increase or decrease the fan speed.
Push to turn the fan on and off.

Temperature Control:

Turn the temper-

ature control knob (see “B” above)
clockwise or counterclockwise to
increase or decrease the temperature
accordingly.

Air Conditioning:

Press the Air

Conditioning button (see “C” left) 
to turn the A/C on or off.

Rear Defog:

Press the Rear Defogger

button (see “D” left) to turn the rear 
window defogger on or off. The heated
outside rearview mirrors on equipped
vehicles will activate as well. 

Air Distribution Modes

(

): Directs most of the air to the floor

outlets, with some air directed to the
outboard outlets (for the side windows)
and some air to the windshield.
Recirculation does not work in this
mode. 
(

): Directs half of the airflow to the

instrument panel outlets and the rest to
the floor outlets. A small amount is
directed to the windshield and outboard
outlets for the side windows.
(      ): Directs air to the instrument panel
outlets. 
(

): Prevents outside air from enter-

ing the vehicle. This feature cannot be
used with the FRONT defrost mode.
(

): Directs most of the air to the

windshield and the floor outlets and a
small amount to the side window outlets.
(The Recirculation feature will not work
in this mode.)
(      ): Directs most of the air to the
windshield and side window outlets with
some air directed to the floor outlets.
(The Recirculation feature will not work
in this mode.)

resetting actually calibrates the system.
To reset with the Systems Monitor:
• Turn the ignition switch to ON.
• Press and hold the TIRE PRESS

RESET button for about five seconds,
until the TIRE PRESS light on the
Systems Monitor begins to flash.

• Release the button and the system

resets when the TIRE PRESS light
goes out.

Calibration continues during the first 45
to 90 minutes of driving.
