TRIANGULAR BRUSH (11A)
The triangular brush (
11A
) is particularly suitable for
cleaning corners. In fact, it has bristles and, becau-
se of this, is ideal for removing the most stubborn
dirt.
To release the triangular brush, simply proceed as
follows:
• Press the triangular brush release lever (
11b
)
with your foot and lift the appliance (Fig. 13)
NOTE: Use the triangular brush without a cloth on
dirty or dirt-encrusted areas and over tile joints with a
lateral motion to lift the dirt, then go back over the
surface drying it with a cloth to collect the dirt remo-
ved.
STEAM ADJUSTMENT
Vaporetto enables the flow of steam desired to be
optimised by turning the adjustment knob (
10
) (Fig.
14). To increase the flow, turn the dial clockwise.
Turning anti-clockwise reduces the flow.
Here are some tips for regulating it:
•
1 - Strong steam:
to remove encrusted dirt,
stains, grease and to sanitise;
•
2 - Normal steam:
for carpeting, rugs, glass,
and floors;
•
3 - Gentle steam
: to steam plants, clean delicate
fabrics, wall coverings, sofas, etc.
NO WATER
The water level is always visible thanks to the tran-
sparent tank.
When the water inside the tank (
5
) has been used
up, steam will stop being released.
To restart operations just fill the water tank (
5
)
again as described in the paragraph “PREPARA-
TION”.
Warning: This must always be done after ha-
ving disconnected the appliance from the
mains.
LIMESCALE FILTER
By nature, water contains mineral salts that favour
the formation of scale.
Vaporetto SV330 is supplied with a limescale filter
(
7
) which reduces the passage of mineral salts and
therefore the formation of limescale.
Always use demineralised water.
We recommend that the filter be changed 2 times
per year.
To replace the filter, proceed as follows:
• Unplug from the mains electricity.
• Remove the water tank (
5
) (Fig. 3) pulling it
upward, then remove the filter (
7
), still pulling
upward (Fig. 13).
• Position the new filter (
7
), push gently and make
sure that it is perfectly inserted (Fig. 13), then re-
position the water tank (Fig. 6).
Inside the package there is a spare filter (
7
), in addi-
tion to the one already mounted on the appliance.
Note:
The limescale filters, as well as replacement
cloths, can be purchased in all leading household
appliance stores, or online at www.polti.com.
STORING THE DEVICE
Before replacing the appliance:
- Unplug the power supply from the mains.
- Completely empty the water tank (
5
) to avoid
water leaks.
- Before detaching the cloth from the brush, wait a
few minutes to allow it to cool.
- Wind the power cable around the special cable
rewinds (
3
) and (
6
).
Warning:
- Before using the appliance again, remember
to unwind the power cable completely. The
upper cable winder (3) rotates 180° in order to
wind up the power cable quickly.
- Do not keep the appliance connected to the
power supply with the cable wound up.
