steam flow by turning the knob in clockwise
direction. Turning it in an anticlockwise di-
rection reduces the steam flow (fig.6). We
suggest the maximum emission for heavy
textiles like jeans and linen, medium for
cotton, minimum for light delicate textiles.
• In order to have a continuous steam jet,
move the button (
10b
) forwards. Steam will
keep on coming out, even releasing the
steam request button. To interrupt the ou-
tlet, move the button (
10b
) backwards
(fig.6).
NOTE:
• Both (
5
) and (
10a
) lights go on and off dur-
ing operation; this is quite normal and
means that the electric resistance is oper-
ating to maintain constant the pressure in
the boiler.
• If no steam is released from the iron, check
that the steam pressure light (
10a
) is off.

Thanks to the self-filling function, there is no
longer any need to stop and wait to fill the
boiler.
When the water inside the boiler reaches its
lowest level, the thermostat will automatically
activate a pump that will fill the boiler from the
tank. If no steam issues on pressing the
steam release switch and the water level
warning light (
4
) lights up at the same time, it
means there is no more water in the tank. To
keep on working, simply restore the water le-
vel in the self-refilling tank as described in the
“Preparation for use” paragraph.

Before attempting any maintenance
operation, always disconnect the ap-
pliance from the mains.
• To clean the body of the appliance, simply
use a moist cloth. Do not use solvents or
detergents which may harm the body mate-
rial.
