INFORMATION FOR USERS
Pursuant to European Directive 2012/19/EU, regarding
electric and electronic appliances, this appliance must not
be disposed of with domestic waste, but sent to an official
collection facility. This appliance complies with EU Direc-
tive 2011/65/EU
The crossed-out bin symbol on the appliance indi-
cates that, at the end of its useful lifespan, the
product must be disposed of separately from
other waste. Therefore, at the end of its life, the
user must handover the appliance to an appropriate col-
lection centre for electric and electronic waste. Proper se-
parate waste collection to facilitate the subsequent recy-
cling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal
of the appliance helps to prevent negative effects on the
environment and human health, and promotes recycling of
the materials the product is made of. Unlawful disposal by
the owner involves the application of the administrative
sanctions envisaged by current legislation.
1. PREPARING FOR USE
1.1 Remove the appliance from the packaging, checking that
the product is whole and that all the parts are there.
1.2 Depending on the drink you wish to prepare, choose the
most suitable accessory.
1.3 Attach the accessory selected to the pin located on the
bottom of the pot, applying gentle pressure. To remove it,
pull it up.
2. MIX AND FROTH
Ensure points 1.2 and 1.3 have been carried out.
2.1 The minimum amount of milk that can be used is 100 ml.,
while the maximum is 250 ml. (the 1st and last markings on
the graduated scale seen on the pot).
2.2 Close the lid and place the pot on the base.
2.3 Connect the auxiliary plug to the power supply cable
and then plug it into an appropriate power socket.
2.4 Select the function key based on the type of drink you
want to prepare.
The button selected will light up to indicate that the
appliance is working.
When preparing beverages at medium or high
temperatures, the process will automatically stop after
about 90 - 240 seconds. When preparing cold milk, it is
necessary to manually stop the process by pressing the
selected button a second time, or by removing the pot.
3. HEAT-UP
Proceed as indicated in Chapter 2, without using the
accessories.
4. PREPARE HOT CHOCOLATE
Proceed as indicated in Chapter 2, using the mixer
accessory and powdered chocolate.
WARNING: always pour the powdered chocolate after
having poured in the milk. Otherwise the mixer accessory
might not work properly.
WARNING: Wait until the base has cooled before
repeating the process (about 5 min.). This allows the
heating system to work at an appropriate temperature.

If you have a Polti coffee machine with an auxiliary plug, it
is possible to directly connect the Cappucì using the cable.
In this case, the coffee machine needs to be connected to
the mains and turned on.
WARNING: Never exceed the maximum level, or the milk
will spill out.
