Filter assembly
The machine is supplied with a special filter for the
water reservoir. This resin-based filter protects the
appliance from lime scale deposits and filters out
any substance (such as chlorine and metallic resi-
dues) that can alter the flavour and aroma of the cof-
fee, while leaving the mineral properties of the water
unaltered. For the machine to recognise the presen-
ce of the filter, the filter setting must be program-
med as "On". The factory setting is filter off.
