b) Electrical safety
•
The mains socket that the device is plugged into must be easily accessible.
•
Only the power adapter supplied with the product may be used as voltage source.
•
Only connect the power adapter to a normal mains socket connected to the public
supply. Before plugging in the power adapter, check whether the voltage stated on
the power adapter complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
•
Do not touch the mains adapter if there are any signs of damage, as this may
cause a fatal electric shock! First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to
which the mains adapter is connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit
breaker or remove the safety fuse, and then switch off at the corresponding RCD
protective switch, so the socket is fully disconnected). You can then unplug the
mains adapter from the mains socket. Dispose of the faulty mains adapter in an
environmentally friendly manner and discontinue use.
•
Never connect or disconnect power adapters if your hands are wet.
•
Never unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable;
always use the grips on the plug.
•
When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are not pinched, kinked
or damaged by sharp edges.
•
Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them.
This poses a risk of injury.
•
The power cable is not replaceable. If it is damaged, the entire product must be
disposed of.
•
For safety reasons, disconnect the power adapter from the mains socket during
storms.
•
Disconnect the product from the power supply if you do not use it for an extended
period.
c) Installation, Connection and Operation
•
This product is only to be installed and used indoors in dry conditions.
•
Do not let the product get damp or wet as the power adapter poses a risk that may
result in fatal electric shock!
•
Only use the product in temperate climates. It is not suitable for use in tropical
climates.
•
Always comply with the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
when using the product in industrial facilities.
•
Do not hang objects on the product or cover the product.
•

Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
•
The LED light bulbs are firmly embedded and cannot be replaced.

Keep the product away from inflammable objects or materials while it is in

Intended use
The product is used for decorative or effect lighting and may only be installed and operated in
dry, enclosed interior rooms. The product can be fixed on suitable objects, such as furniture,
using the adhesive tape located on the bottom side of the LED strip. The product is controlled
by an on/off switch.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the
instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third
parties together with its operating instructions.

a) General information
•
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
•
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous toy for children.
•
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
•
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorized use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:

has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or

has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.

Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height

a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it to use. This
may take several hours.
