USE OF THE SCOOTER
Turning scooter on and off
To turn the scooter on or off, press ON/OFF button. The scooter also switches itself off automatically in case of
long (more than 5 minutes) non-use.
Setting driving mode
After turning on the scooter works by default at the low maximum speed mode (limitation up to 15 km/h). The
“Low maximum speed” indicator lights up on LCD. To set High maximum speed mode, press ON/OFF button
twice quickly (within 1 sec) so that there was “High maximum speed” indicator on display (limitation up to 25
km/h). Reverse switching is carried out in the same way.
Turning on and off course flashlight
To turn on or off LED course flashlight, press ON/OFF button once when the scooter is on.
Determination of remaining battery charge
The remaining battery charge is indicated by the corresponding indicator on the left side of the LCD. Five
horizontal lines indicate maximum battery power, one – minimum. When minimum charge level is reached, it
is recommended to recharge the battery.
Attention! With a significant load on the electric motor (intensive acceleration or movement on the rise):
1)
The battery level indicator may show a lower residual charge value than when there is no load. This is not a drawback of the
display system and is associated with the features of monitoring the battery status. To obtain adequate information about the charge, it is
necessary to remove the load from the electric motor (stop or go off) for at least 30 seconds.
2)
The motor can turn off, and logo POLARIS on the LCD screen will blink. To avoid overheating of the motor, try not to allow
frequent overloads.
If necessary, you can turn off electric kick scooter and continue skating in the normal scooter mode, pushing
with your foot.
Speed control
In the mode of electric kick scooter speed is controlled by the levers of the accelerator and the electric brake,
as well as the rear mechanical brake.
- Press the accelerator lever to accelerate scooter. The acceleration intensity depends on the amount of lever
pressing.
Attention!
Do not press the levers of the accelerator and the electric brake too much (more than 10 kgf) to avoid their breakage.
- For smooth braking, use the electric brake lever;
- For intensive braking use the rear mechanical brake – adjust the intensity of the braking force by pressing foot
on the wing of the rear wheel.
Attention! When using the rear mechanical brake, especially with intensive braking, the use of an electric brake does not increase the braking
intensity, as the motor brake is driven to the same rear wheel, which is already braked by a mechanical brake.
Digital LCD display readings
Digital LCD indicator shows the current speed of the scooter by default. To display the current mileage readings
from the moment you turn on, press and hold the electric brake lever when the scooter is stationary. When you
turn off the scooter, the mileage is reset.
