Calibrating the compass
Please read the Operation Manual before first use!
This is a quick reference guide for calibrating the compass and altitude. To
get the full benefit of the many features of the Wayfinder, we advise you to
read the entire Operation Manual.
Before you calibrate
• Make sure the Wayfinder is properly installed (see Operation Manual).

• As a reminder, the unit can
be tilted up or down a maxi-
mum of 20° from horizontal
plane (road level). If tilted
more than ±20°, the heading
information after calibration
may not be accurate.

Calibrating the altitude
You must calibrate the altimeter
from a location with a known
altitude, such as your home.
1. Press
until “ALt SEt”
displays
2. Press
to toggle between
“ft” and “m” symbols
3. Press
to select flashing
“ft” or “m” symbol
Either “
_ _ _ _ _
” or the previous
altitude displays in 5 digits on line 3
next to unit of measure selection and
the farthest left digit starts flashing
4. Press
to advance the
first flashing digit
