Coding the siren with an alarm system
ATTENTION:
The siren has a tamper switch on the back. We recomend blocking this switch on closed
position when coding the siren, otherwise the siren will sound continuously.
Ÿ
Press and hold the SET button on the back of the siren until you hear 2 beeps. Immediately after the
second beep press the disarm button on the remote control of the alarm system and release the SET
button of the siren. The LEDs will flash rapidly and the siren will beep five times to confirm the coding.
ATTENTION:
Ÿ
If the siren LED blinks rapidly and you will hear 2 short beeps then the coding has failed.
Ÿ
For the coding to be successful you have to first enable the wireless siren connection from the control unit
of the alarm system (see alarm system user manual).
Initialization
Ÿ
Connect 220V power and switch to “ON”; built-in buzzer will sound 2 beeps with indicator flashing twice.
Ÿ
The ON/OFF button on the back of the siren is for the back-up battery.
Reset siren
Ÿ
Long press SET button until you hear 3 beeps. Release button. The siren will sound 2 short beeps to
confirm reset.
States when work standalone
Ÿ
In case of alarm: the siren will sound until you disarm the system or for 7 minutes.
Ÿ
Arm/disarm system: the siren will sound shortly.
User manual
This product can be used as an outdoor siren for an alarm system, this
way, the siren will sound when it will receive a signal from the alarm control panel,
in case of alarm or when arming/disarming the system.
NOTA:
Pay attention that this siren should be installed as far as possible from
large metal objects or high RF interference of household appliances. Meantime,
avoid the shield of concrete wall and fire-proof door.
