Turning the device off
There are two methods to turn off the NVR:
1. Access the main menu (right click on the screen) and select the Logout option - Shutdown
2. Turn off the power supply.
Special warnings:
1. Restart after power failure : If the device was abnormally closed, it makes a backup and it
restarts from that status once power is restored.
2. Replacing the battery on the motherboard : Before replacing the battery, you must save
your system settings and turn off the power. Device time must be rescheduled after battery
replacement. We recommend that you replace the battery every year.
Remote control:
You can remotely control the device:
- through dedicated CMS software, compatible with Windows
- over Internet Explorer
- through dedicated application (XMEye) compatible with iOS, Android.
System authentication
After turning on the device, log into the device.
By default, the admin user is protected by password 1234 . If the password is entered incorrectly
5 times in a row, the account will be locked. By restarting the device or after half an hour, the
account will be unlocked automatically.
Note: For the security of your system, please change the password after the first authentication.
