Technical assistance

PLUX provides Technical Assistance for all the equipment it supplies, and damaged parts, accessories or 

bioPLUXresearch devices may be substituted or repaired. 

Technical Assistance is provided at PLUX's premises within a maximum of 30 days.

Even if the system is under guarantee, before calling a Technician please carry out a few simple checks to  

see if the problem can be solved without requesting support. See if following questions help in resolving the 

matter. If you are unable to solve the problem, contact PLUX technical support:

1. I'm having problems installing the Bluetooth adapter. What should I do?

Reply: 

The   adapter   should   be   installed   automatically   under   Windows   XP   or   later   operating   systems.   Simply  

connect the  adapter to a USB port and installation  should run  automatically, as described on page  13. 

However, if you are using Windows XP with “BLUESOLEIL” software, you may have to uninstall it. To do  

this, go to the windows Control Panel, select  “Add/remove programs” and remove “ BLUESOLEIL”. Restart 

your computer for the change to take effect.

2. I've switched the bioPLUXresearch device on but it doesn't work. What should I do?

Reply: 

Check to see whether the battery is low or needs charging. Autonomy is approximately 12 hours. If the 

battery is low, recharge it (see page 12). If, after recharging without problems (see bioPLUXresearch device 

statuses on page 8), the device still does not work, please contact PLUX technical assistance.

3. I started recharging the bioPLUXresearch device, but after a while a stable red light came on  

under “status”. What does this mean?

Reply: 

A stable warning light means that an error occurred during recharging the bioPLUXresearch device (see  

page  8).   Disconnect   the   bioPLUXresearch   from   the   transformer   and   connect   it   again,   to   finish   the  

recharging process, as described on page 12.
