Place car-seat on the selected seat (Fig. 26) with your child inside well fixed by belts.
Fasten the seat belts of the car in its buckle (Fig. 27), passing the horizontal one through
the appropriate spaces on both sides of the seat marked with a stamp (Fig. 28 and 29);
pass diagonal belt on the back side of car-seat, passing it in the special slot marked with a
stamp (Fig. 30). Pull on the belt and put it on tight.
ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT CAR'S BELTS ARE NOT ROLLED OR TWISTED, BUT
WELL TIGHTED
Make sure that car's belt is correctly tensioned to ensure maximum protection for the
child.
Check that the diagonal belt of the car is fastened correctly, that it doesn't pass under
handle and/or above it (Fig. 31). In this case, adjust belt and put it in tension again.
Check that buckle's belt of the car is not too high (Fig. 32). Otherwise, install car-seat on
another seat of the car.
Now your car-seat is ready for use in car; to remove it, follow the above described
operations making them backwards.
Even for just a few meters travel, ALWAYS put your baby into car-seat. Always fasten its
seat belts even when you are using car-seat outside the car.
ATTENZION!: For use of car-seat on stroller chassis, refer to the appropriate manual.
BOUNCER USE
When not used in car, car-seat can also be used as a bouncer.
WARNINGS:
- It is dangerous to use it on unstable and/or raised surfaces: eg. a table.
- Do not use as a bouncer when the child is able to sit alone.
- Always use the restraint system fastened and well adjusted.
- If used as a bouncer, remember that it is not intended for long periods of sleep. It does
not replace the cot. If your child needs to sleep, put him in a proper bed.
- ATTENTION!: Before turning back to car-seat function, return the handle to the vertical
position (B).
