Mounting on extractor hood
The chimney extractor hood must be installed according to the guidelines for
recirculation – for this, see the manual for your extractor hood.
Mounting options
It is possible to use and use the
PlasmaMade Carbon Airfilter
in two ways, as suction
filter or as a blow filter.
As a suction filter, the
PlasmaMade Carbon Airfilter
is mounted underneath the engine.
Please note that your hood should be suitable for this. These are usually specially built
models, the advantage here is a high efficiency.
The
PlasmaMade Carbon Airfilter
can also
be mounted as an exhaust filter. This is by
far the most preferred option because each
standard hood is suitable for this. However,
the exhaust efficiency is less than if the
filter would be used as a suction filter.
