Note
This guide leads you through the proper
installation for WL-U356A in Windows XP system.
The installations for other Windows systems are
similar.
Installation Procedures
Note
1. If you had ever installed the other Wireless
Cards before, please uninstall the existed
drivers and utilities first.
2. Please install the configuration utility before
insert WL-U356A into the USB port of the
computer.
1. Insert the bundled CD into the CD-ROM driver. The Wizard
should run automatically to display the menu screen.
2. Click on “Configuration Utility” hyper link in WL-U356A field
to initiate the installation. If the menu screen is not shown,
you can click “Start” button and choose “Run”. When the dia
-
log box appears, enter “E:\Utility\setup.exe” (Suppose “E” is
your CD-ROM drive) and click “OK” to continue.
3. When the welcome screen appears, click “Next”.
4. Click “Next” to accept the default destination folder for the
software or click “Browse” to manually select a different des
-
tination.
5. For Windows XP, click “Continue Anyway” at the Windows
Logo Compatibility screen.
6. For Windows 2000, click “Yes” at the Digital Signature
screen.
