7.   Mounting SMB Server in Mac OS X 

First, you have to make sure that local Mac and NAS-7101 are in the same LAN environment. Then you can connect to 
NAS-7101 using SMB protocol, by inputting a URL starts with 

“smb://”

.

Click on the 

Apple Menu

, and select 

Location -> Network Preferences

.

A Network window will show. Select 

Built-in Ethernet

 in the 

Show:

 pop-up menu.
