3.6.8 IPSec VPN (ADW-4401 only)
The IPSec VPN (Virtual Private Network) feature in the ADW-4401v4 allows you to create a
VPN connection between 2 ADW-4401v4. It is easy to configure and share the resource
between two-sites through a secure and safe connection.
IPSec VPN Configuration
VPN:
Enable or Disable IPSec VPN
Connection Name:
Each IPSec VPN is given a unique name to identify it.
Local public IP Address:
The address of the local VPN endpoint.
Remote public IP Address:
The address of the remote VPN endpoint.
Local private IP Address:
IP address or subnet on your local LAN. Traffic must be
from (or to) these addresses to be covered by this policy. For example, the
192.168.1.0/24
is for a
class C
subnet.
Remote private IP Address:
IP address or subnet on the remote LAN. Traffic must be
to (or from) these addresses to be covered by this policy. For example, the
192.168.1.0/24
is for a
class C
subnet.
PSK Key (Pre-shared Key):
The key must be entered both here and on the remote
VPN Gateway.
