Intellicharging the Battery
The battery has been partially charged after production. It is recommended that the battery be
fully recharged before use.
1) Plug the CHARGER into a wall outlet. The CHARGING INDICATOR LED lights up red.
2) Plug the CHARGER JACK into the CHARGER PORT on the side of the battery. The
CHARGING INDICATOR LED lights up green indicating the unit is charging. Charge the
battery until CHARGING INDICATOR LED is blinking green indicating the battery is fully
charged (Approximately 10 hours).
3) The Intellicharger feature allows you to leave the battery plugged in full time. The battery
charges fully and shuts off when full charge is achieved. Intellicharger then keeps your
battery fully "topped-off" by "pulse" charging the battery for a few seconds each minute to
maintain a full charge without risking battery damage. Very Smart!
Note: See Warnings and Precautions on page 1-A. They are very important!
Mounting Instructions
1) Loosen the 16 mm SCREW on the bracket side of LIGHT HEAD. (You can attach the bracket
to either side of the light head by removing and exchanging positions of the 16 mm and 8 mm
length screws.) Rotate light head to a desired position. See MOUNTING POSITION OPTIONS
diagram below. Once you have determined a position, tighten the 16 mm SCREW into the
bracket and light head.
(
NOTE
: It is important to use both screws in order for the light case to seal tightly)
2) Wrap BRACKET CLAMP around the handlebar close to the handlebar stem. Adjust QUICK
RELEASE clamp tension on the bar by rotating the LEVER clockwise to tighten or
counterclockwise to loosen. Close CLAMP LEVER to secure. Ideal tension allows for the light
beam to be adjusted up or down by pushing the light bracket arm with your hand. See
MOUNTING QUICKCAM BRACKET diagram below. (
CAUTION
: Do not over-tighten clamp.)
3) Insert POWER PLUG into SUPERCIRCUIT CONTROL BOX. Strap the supercircuit box
to the stem. Strap the REMOTE SWITCH BOX to the handlebar within reach of your
thumb while riding. See diagram on top of next page.
Mounting Battery Pack
1) Thread attaching strap through battery slots as shown.
Loop velcro faces away from battery.
2) Wrap strap around frame tube and through strap buckle.
3) Tighten the strap firmly around bike frame tube and pull
tightly as you wrap the strap around the battery. (See diagram)
4) Secure the strap by pressing the hook velcro portion of the strap
to the loop velcro. Check battery for a tight fit on the bike tube.
Operating the Light
1) Plug the BATTERY CABLE into the BATTERY PACK.
The BATTERY POWER GAUGE LEDs will light up indicating available battery life.
See READING THE BATTERY POWER GAUGE diagram below.
2) To turn the light on, press and hold the REMOTE SWITCH for 1-2 seconds.
3) To change power settings, press and release the REMOTE SWITCH. The switch will change
in the order of: low, medium, high, flashing and then back to low power with each click of the
REMOTE SWITCH.
4) To turn the light off, press and hold the REMOTE SWITCH for 1-2 seconds.
Note
: Unplug the
battery cable from the battery after use as the circuit will draw power and deplete the battery.
Reading the Battery Power Gauge
The Battery Power Gauge
uses 3 LEDs to indicate 6
battery power levels.
WARNING:
When the BATTERY FUEL GAUGE indicates the battery is low, you will have
approximately 15-20 minutes of run time remaining. During this time, the system will
automatically revert to "reserve power" in the 8 watt (low) power setting.
Note: See Warnings and Precautions on page 1-A.
