Measure/Capture menu
Tap the
icon in the home screen to open the Measure/Capture submenu. The
submenu appears at the bottom of the screen.
The Measure/Capture submenu offers the following functions:

The
icon opens the global measurement parameter menu. (3.2.1)

The icon opens the temperature measurement tools menu. (3.2.2)
•
The icon opens the capture mode selection menu. (3.2.3)
•
The icon opens the image display mode selection menu. (3.2.4)

Global measurement parameters
Tap the icon to open the global temperature measurement parameters menu.
The global temperature measurement menu icons are described in Sections 3.2.1.1 through
3.2.1.7.

Emissivity
Emissivity refers to the ratio of the energy radiated by a measured object to that of a
blackbody at the same temperature. Emissivity has a value between 0 and 1.
