Preparation before operation

Charging
The battery can be charged with an external charger or through the USB port.
Before first use of the camera, charge the battery fully.

External charger
If quick charging is required, the battery of the camera can be removed and charged on
the external charger using the following steps:
Step 1 Use your thumb and forefinger to press the battery compartment latch inward
and pull the battery out.
