After having installed the
appliance wait 4 hours before you
connect it to the mains.
1.
Select setting MAX after the waiting period and as soon as you have switched
on the appliance.
2.
Now let the appliance operate for approx. 4 hours without storing any food
inside.
3.
After this period select setting NORMAL. You can store food inside now.
4.
When you desire a warmer freezing-temperature, select setting MIN.
5.
If the ambient temperature is very high (e.g. on summer days), you can select a
colder setting, e.g. MAX.
The setting definitions are standard values only.
Operation parameters
1.
The appliance can only reach the relevant temperatures inside the freezing
compartment, when:
a.
the a ambient temperature meets the climatic class.
b.
the doors close properly.
c.
you do not open the doors too often or too long.
d.
the door seals are in proper condition.
e.
the appliance is properly positioned.
f.
you have not overfilled the appliance.
2.
High ambient temperatures and simultaneously operating at the coldest
setting may make the compressor operate permanently to keep the
temperature constant inside the appliance.
3.
Defrost the freezing compartment regularly.
