4. INSTALLATION
WARNING!
Do not use a socket board or a multi socket when using 220–240 V/50 Hz
alternate current (AC).All electrical connections which may be damaged
must be repaired by a qualified professional.
Unpacking and positioning
1.
Unpack the appliance carefully. Dispose of the packaging as described in
chapter waste management.
2.
Completely remove the transport-protection. Be very careful and do not use any
aggressive or abrasive detergents to remove residuals of the transport-
protection.
3.
Check that the appliance and the power cord are not damaged.
4.
Connect the appliance to a dedicated socket only.
5.
Do not install the appliance in a place where it may come in contact with water
or rain; otherwise the insulation of the electrical system will be damaged.
6.
Connect the appliance to the mains properly.

While unpacking, the packaging materials (polythene bags, polystyrene pieces, etc.)

Installation / hob
1.
Unpack the appliance.
2.
Remove the 4 feet (if there are some) on the bottom of the appliance.
3.
Untighten the screws which connect the appliance and the mounting device.
Remove the mounting device.
4.
Fix the mounting device on the built-in structure. Use the screws you have
found in the packing. As you can see below, the top edge of the mounting
device is 10 mm lower as the top edge of the built-in structure. The left and the
