Adding Water
•
Make sure the ON/OFF Switch is set to the “off’
position (Red Power Indicator Light will not be
illuminated) and ensure the power cord is
unplugged from the wall socket.
•
Carefully remove the Water Tank / Boiler Cap by
unscrewing it in a counter-clockwise direction
Refer Fig 3-A
NOTE
: If the Water Tank / Boiler was not
emptied completely after last use, empty all
remaining water now to prevent overfilling. To do
this, tip the Mop upside down over the sink and
allow the water to drain out of the filling hole.
Only Do this when the Mop and water is cold
and the power cord is unplugged.
•
Fill the included Measuring Cup with 250ml of
clean cold water, and then pour it into the Water
Tank / Boiler through the Water Tank / Boiler Fill
Hole Refer Fig 3-B
NOTE
: In order to minimise potential mineral
build-up and prolong the life of your Steam Mop,
it is recommended that distilled or de-
mineralised water be used in the Water Tank /
Boiler.
If distilled water is not available, then the Water
Tank / Boiler should be cleaned frequently in
order to remove mineral build-up. Refer to
Mineral Build-Up section for details.
DO NOT
Overfill the Water Tank / Boiler. Only use a maximum of 250ml at
any time.
•
Replace the Water Tank / Boiler Cap by screwing it into the Water Tank /
Boiler Fill Hole in a clockwise direction until tight Refer Fig 3-B
•
The Steam Mop is now ready to begin steaming.
