Unscrew the dust canister lid and pull apart.
Empty the dust out of the canister into the rubbish bin.
The inside of the Dust Canister and the filter can be
wiped clean or washed in warm soapy water and dried
thoroughly. (Refer Maintenance Section).
Refit the lid and insert back into the vacuum cleaner
then close the cover.
12 User Maintenance
WARNING
: The plug must be removed from the power socket before any
maintenance or replacement.
NOTE
: To maximise the performance of your vacuum cleaner, you should
clean your filters regularly.
If the filters are broken or worn, replace them before continuing to use the
vacuum.

12.1 Cleaning Filters
12.1.1 Main Filter
Important Note
– the Main Filter must be cleaned regularly for best
suction performance and to prevent over-heating and damage to your
vacuum cleaner.
Remove the Dust Canister and Lid as described previously.
Hold the lid and unscrew the filter from the lid.
