1. Inspect condition of bolts used with flap and aileron hinges; replace as required.
2. Bench check or replace electric fuel pumps as required. (Refer to Piper Service Manual, section IX.)
3. Inspect and/or replace fuel shutoff valves as required.
4. Replace inboard aileron hinge if the latest revision of Piper Service Bulletin No. 974 has not been
complied with.

2. All PT6-A engines may be operated to scheduled hot section intervals or alternatively; the Hot
Section Inspection may be used on engine condition trend monitoring in accordance with P&W
Part Number FO 740001, latest revision. If trend monitoring is introduced part way through
engine life, a compressor wash and hot section inspection must be accomplished to establish
performance base line.

1. Replace the elevator (SAS) down spring (refer to Piper Service Manual, Section Xl). (PA-31 T only. )
1. Inspect fuel cells every two years or 2000 hours, whichever comes first. (Refer to Piper Service
Manual, Section IX.)
2. For aircraft equipped with Calco Flap Control System, remove, service and inspect the transmissions
as explained in Section V of the Piper Service Manual.
