If Auto Power Off is set, the unit’s power automatically turns off. Check
the Auto Power Off setting (page 11).

the remote control.
Are you operating the remote
control from a point too far
away from the unit?
Operate from within 7 m of the remote control sensor.

Wait for at least 10 seconds after the unit display disappears and then
make sure you press the

on the unit or the power button on the
remote control before disconnecting the power cord. Be particularly
careful when the power cord is connected to the AC outlet on another
device because the unit turns off in conjunction with the device.
I want to adjust the
brightness of the
indicators.
Press the
DIMMER
on the remote and select the desired display
brightness.
The input selection
indicators are flashing
red.
Before use, unplug the power cord, wait several seconds, then plug the
power cord back in.

The unit becomes hot
during use.
The temperature of the unit cabinet may increase slightly during use
depending on the operating environment. This is not an indication of a
malfunction so you can continue using the unit without worrying.
Turning up the unit’s
volume using the TV
remote control causes
sound to also come out
of the TV. (Remote control
learning function)
Is the audio output for the TV
internal speakers set to off?
Turn the audio output for the TV internal speaker to off. If no such
setting is possible, set the TV volume to the minimum again.
If the volume of the unit is controlled using the remote control learning
function, audio may also be output through the TV speakers, depending
on the make of the TV.
Unable to have the unit
learn the TV remote
control.
Light fixtures or the TV may
be interfering with the remote
control sensor on the unit.
Change the direction of the light fixtures, or turn off the power to the TV,
and then attempt the learning again. If the learning function still does
not work, the remote control is not supported by the unit. Please control
the unit using the supplied remote control.
