How to tune optical pick up grating
Adjust Lissajous’ figure (x-y) of EOUT (TP131) to FOUT (TP130) after automatically adjusting in a test mode AUTO2
using a high reflection disc.
1. Loosen the three screws of the spinning motor and adjust checking Lissajous’ figure.
2. After the tuning is completed, tighten the screws

Use the following circuit as a tool to measure jitter.
Check jitter value of EFM with the step continuous play
in TESTPLAY mode after automatically tuning in a test
mode AUTO2 (ATT auto tuning) using a low reflection
disc.
