7.2 DISASSEMBLY

Removing the Case(Not shown)
1. Open the case by using a screwdriver and remove it.

Removing the Grille Assy(Not shown)
1. Remove the two fixing screws.
2. Release the Grille Assy from the hooks and pull it out.

Removing the CD Mechanism Module(Not shown)
1. Remove the four fixing screws.
2. Disconnect the connector, and then remove the CD Mech
Module.

Removing the Heat Sink(Fig.1)
1. Remove the six fixing screws.
2. Remove the Heat Sink.

Removing the Chassis(Fig.2)
1. Remove the two fixing screws (one each from the left and
right sides), and then remove the Chassis.

Removing the Cassette Mechanism Module(Not
shown)
1. Remove the four screws.
2. Disconnect the connector, and then remove the Cassette
Mech Module.

Removing the Tuner Deck Amp Unit
1. Remove the two screws A, screw C, and screw D.
2. Straighten the three hooks marked with an arrow.
3. Lift up the Tuner Deck Amp Unit to remove it.
