3.1.4 Failure Test (Diagnosis) Method
Note:
Use Windows 2000 or Windows XP for diagnosis. The program cannot run on Windows 98 or Windows ME.
• Discs to be used
DVD-ROM (Single)

• Test program disc
FA program: GGS1063 (S806ca.exe)
• Installation method
Copy the "S806ca.exe" "S806spec.dat" "S806inq.dat" "Wnaspi32.dll" program file to an appropriate place (ex. the
Windows desktop).
• Procedures
1. Start up your PC.
2. Turn the DVR-S806 on.
3. Connect the PC and the DVR-S806 using a USB 2.0 cable.
4. Double-click on the icon for the copied "S806ca.exe" program.
5. Program execution begins.
Note:
The model name of the disc displayed on the select menu of the startup screen is for factory use.
The corresponding part numbers for service tools are as follows:
