Connection
This is a hot- p lug unit. Connect the unit to the su pp lied USB cable.
1 Confirm that your computer (PC) has two available USB ports.
2 With your Windows® operating system running, use the supplied USB cable to connect this unit
to the PC.
Caution
• Do not disconnect the USB cable du r ing data t r ansfe r s.
• Do not disconnect the USB cable du r ing the PC sta r t no r any o p e r ation with the unit.

• This unit can o p e r ate with USB 1.1 but will not pr ovide o p timum p e r fo r mance.
• Connecting this unit th r ough a USB HUB o r using uns p ecified cables may not gua r antee pr o p e r
o p e r ation.
• In some cases, the use of a single USB p o r t may be insufficient fo r no r mal o p e r ation.
Use two USB p o r ts fo r p owe r enhancement.
• If p owe r is insufficient when using two USB p o r ts, connect an AC ada p te r (not included) th r ough
the DC IN connecto r on the unit’s r ea r p anel and p lug into a wall outlet to delive r p owe r . Connect
the USB cable (included) afte r connecting the AC ada p te r fo r pr o p e r o p e r ation. Fo r mo r e details
