The fuse F1 is in the neutral, and that the mains shall be disconnected to de-energine the phase conductors.
To avoid receiving the electrical shock, operator needs to discharge the voltage (electrical charge) of primary side.
As an example, show the way of using the "discharge JIG" below.
About DWR1548 (SW POWER SUPPLY)
Fuse notice (For Skilled Person - base on IEC62368-1)
S
ince primary side of
S
W POWER
S
UPPLY remains high voltage (bigger than 200 V) for a long time after power off, it's very
dangerous. (Reason : Because electrical capacitor of C4/C5 can stock much electrical charge, but discharge need a long time.)
And more, since operator can touch the dangerous primary side easily, there is some possibility that operator receives an
electrical shock from
S
W POWER
S
UPPLY.
NOTE:
DJ

-1000 keeps compliance "safety regulation" as a set. This is applied to only engineer and service person and so on.
Red area below is the dangerous area
that operator can touch easily and receives an electrical shock.
Primary side electrical shock
Electrical shock area of A-side.
Electrical shock area of B-side.
After connecting JIG to C4 or C5 lead wire,
If C4/C5 is dangerous condition, JIG LEDs turn on.
(Luminance of LEDs is variable.)
If C4/C5 is safety condition, JIG LEDs turn off completely.
The circuit of "discharge JIG" is shown below.

When there is no right "discharge JIG", take measures
the following method.
•
S
tep1: After the power is turned off, wait 2 minutes.
•
S
tep2: Connect the Register Jig and leave the unit
as it is, for 10 seconds.
