Fault: The robot arm does not move

Remedy
"ON" LED at the
foot of the robot

No supply voltage

Check that the voltage supply com-
plies with the technical details; if ne-
cessary provide the correct voltage
supply.

Check the robot arm's circuit breaker
(-10F2).

Check the connection cable between
the robot arm and control cabinet.

Check the connector at the foot of the
robot arm.
Supply voltage cable is
damaged
Check the cable for damage and ex-
change any damaged cable.
Supply voltage cable is not
plugged in or is plugged in
incorrectly
Check that the cable is plugged in cor-
rectly; if necessary plug the cable in
correctly.
Connector for the supply
voltage cable is damaged
Check the connector for damage and
exchange any damaged connector.
"STO" LED at the
foot of the robot
arm lights up red
Motion enable is not present
because the emergency
stop function is active
Unlock all emergency stop pushbuttons
and then reset the emergency stop.
If the teach pendant is not connected,
ensure that the bridging plug is inserted.
Motion enable is not present
because a safeguard is act-
ive
In "Automatic" mode, check that all
safeguards are in a safe state and then
reset.
Motion enable is not present
because the brake test has
not been performed suc-
cessfully
Perform a brake test in accordance with
the operating manual.
In one of the manual operat-
ing modes, the enabling
switch is not operated
Operate the enabling switch.

because the wrong operat-

Select the appropriate operating mode.
