7 Operation
When the supply voltage is switched on, the PNOZmulti safety system copies the configur­
ation from the chip card.
The LEDs “POWER”, “DIAG”, “FAULT”, “IFAULT” and “OFAULT” will light up on the base
unit.
The expansion module PNOZ mc7p is configured and started automatically.
7.1 Messages

L Err Red Fault detected: Wrong station address or transmission rate

Flashes unevenly: faulty connection, e.g. terminating resistor is
missing
