Checks and maintenance

It is not necessary to perform maintenance work on the product in normal operation. Please
return any faulty products to Pilz.

9.1

Checks

Monthly check

Perform a manual

function test [

of the PIT gb every month.

INFORMATION

This inspection may only be carried out by qualified personnel.

Check after modifications

Check the PIT gb each time the plant/machine is modified. Changing the PIT gb or swap-
ping PIT gb components should also be regarded as a modification.

9.2

Cleaning

Clean the unit every month with a soft cloth and a mild cleaning agent.
