CAUTION
THE LDR IS AN ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE SENSITIVE DEVICE. USE AN ESD WRIST STRAP AND
CONNECT IT TO GROUND ON THE LDR BEFORE YOU START WORK ON THE LDR.

Procedure
1 Removal
1.1 Open the access panel 31AB, refer to AMM 12-B-06-20-00-00A-040A-A.
1.2 On the CVFDR Panel in the battery bay, open and install a Safety clip (circuit breaker hold
open) (Pt.No. T12-030) on the following circuit breaker:
− CVFDR POWER.
1.3 Make sure that the ESD wrist strap (Pt.No. Local supply) is securely connected to a good ground point
on the LDR.
1.4 Release the two DB 50 captive connector screws Figure 1 [6].
1.5 Disconnect the DB 50 connector Figure 1 [5] from the LDR Figure 1 [4].
1.6 Remove the lockwire Figure 1 [1] from bolts Figure 1 [2].
1.7 Remove the two bolts Figure 1 [2] and washers Figure 1 [3].
