Use of a new battery (03_21, 03_22, 03_23, 03_24)

To remove the empty battery, proceed as follows:

Place the scooter on its centre stand and lift the saddle. Remove the battery com-
partment cover and undo the negative pole screw «

Undo the positive pole screw «

».

03_23

Remove the battery from its housing. Place the new battery and proceed in reverse
order of the removal.

CAUTION

IT IS IMPORTANT TO OBSERVE THE INDICATED CONNECTION SEQUENCE OF
THE CABLES AT THE BATTERY TO AVOID SHORT-CIRCUITS. WHEN FITTING
THE NEW BATTERY, FIRST CONNECT THE POSITIVE CABLE «+» AND THEN
THE NEGATIVE CABLE «-».
