Development Board Connectors
Please note that all connections are not to exceed their expressed
maximum voltage or current. Maximum signal input values are
indicated in the corresponding controller manuals/data sheets. As
damage from improper connections varies according to use and
application, it is the user’s responsibility to take appropriate safety
measures to ensure that the module connections are protected from
overloading through connected peripherals.
As depicted below, the following connectors are available on the
Development Board:
•
X1 – receptacle to install PHYTECs phyCORE-MODULs,
•
X2 and X3 – 2,54mm standard width pin header rows for
extension boards, providing all signals of the phyCORE connector
X1,
•
X4 – 2 x 5 2,54 mm standard width pin header row to feed an
external BDM interface,
•
X5 – low voltage power source connector,
•
VG1 – VG-96 periphery connector,
•
P1 – DB-25 plug of the onboard BDM-Interface,
•
P2 and P3 – DB-9 sockets for both RS-232 interfaces,
•
P4 and P5 – DB-9 plugs for both CAN interfaces.
