Pump
This is an essential function test on Magna. Magna works with Photocentric patented peel release
technology, called ‘Blow Peel’. We suggest prior to launching a print, test the Blow Peel through ‘Pump’
procedure. Simply press the ‘Pump’ button and follow the procedure on the screen.
During this procedure, there will be some air pumped under the vat which leads to vat film inflation. Vat film
should stay inflated until the pump starts vacuuming the air out. For more info, please see section: Pump
test troubleshooting

Disable
To disable or enable Printer System to be used by your service engineer.
Lift Platform
To lift the print platform when it is needed.
Light On
Magna has a light engine which has been built from
hundreds of Royal Blue LEDs and it is placed below 24”
LCD screen. This light engine is the source to enable resin curing. Press Light On to check if the light engine
functions properly. You should see a blue light illuminating behind the 24” screen.
Light Off
Once you press ‘Light On’, you can turn it off by pressing ‘Light Off’. Or light will go off automatically after 10
seconds.
Re-Home
Magna Print Platform is factory calibrated prior to shipping. Calibration means it is set level and parallel to 24”
screen to ensure all of the first layers will adhere fully to Print
Platform.
You will never or rarely need to take Re-Home or Re-calibration process. Please contact support@photocentric.
co.uk for confirmation that you should carry this out.
Display
To check 24” printer screen function press display button. Photocentric logo should get displayed.
NETWORK PAGE
You can connect your Magna to a network in order to upload and remove print files, and to monitor print
jobs from your desk.
WI-FI
If you have plugged in the provided Wi-Fi dongle (See Connecting your Magna to WiFi on Page 7), you can
connect your Magna to a Wi-Fi network.
