Art. 4/079 is an Infrared-Sensor which, in combination with the Interfaces 4/070-73-83, will pilot the car-radio through
the steering-wheel commands. This sensor should, preferably, be installed on the plastic base-part of the steering-wheel, at
a maximum inclination of 70° and a maximum distance of 70cm, with respect to the car-radio.
Please note:
in case of very intense light onto the IR-sensor of the car-radio or the 4/079-sensor, the steering-wheel com-
mands might suffer from this and temporarily get out of order.

Once the central-unit and the IR-sensor have been installed –proceeding per related Mounting Instructions- the selection of
the car-radio Brand has to be effected per following Tables:

Should the selection turn out to be wrong, please check the number of flashes required for the related radio-Brand. Now
press or VOLUME- to increase/reduce the flashes, per requirement. When memorization has positively taken
place, the Led will turn GREEN.
