Step 11. Changing the battery in M13 hearing aids with
a secured battery compartment
The hearing aid has the option to be fitted with a secured
battery compartment if needed for safety reasons. To
change the battery you need to unsecure the battery
compartment. Use the battery door tool and put it into
the notch shown (Fig. 11a). Pull the battery compartment
downwards until its open (Fig. 11b).
Push the battery out of the battery compartment with
the battery door tool (Fig. 11c). Insert the new battery so
that you see the + symbol on the battery (Fig. 11d).
Before you close the battery compartment, check that the
battery is in position and beneath the white plastic tab
(Fig. 11e).
