Scope

This chapter describes the Seagate ST973401LC disk drive in detail.

Introduction

The ST973401LC is a high performance 2.5" one half inch high 73.4 gigabyte (formatted) disk drive with a 4.7
millisecond average seek time that is designed to operate with a SCSI host adapter or equivalent.  The drive
features low power requirements and high shock resistance, enabling operation in portable environments.  The
drive uses the industry standard 

Small Computer System Interface

 (SCSI-2).
